Senior Software Developer

Employment opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer based in our Engineering Department at Head Office in Gillitts, Durban or at our International office in Mauritius.
The candidate must be a full-stack developer proficient with high-level backend languages, front-end web technologies and large-scale databases.
Able to work with both legacy code and new technologies, Experience in not just coding but good software design.Requirements:Matric with BSc (computer science) or equivalentDriver's Licence with own reliable transportPositive attitude with a passion for programmingCandidate must be prepared to relocate to Mauritius permanently10 years' experience with web-based software development:ASP .
NET (IIS), Javascript / Typescript, DB Administrator, MySQLResponsibilities:Software development, enhancement and maintenance of:o Web Applicationso Client Side (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Transcript, JQuery, Openlayers and othero Javascript APIso Mobile web applicationso MySQL database managemento DB AdministrationAfter hours support on critical services, at Management's discretion.Stand-alone C++ / C # / other applications and scripts.Testing of newly developed software and product features.Compiling documentation with any new developments.Research into relevant subject areas to aid in developments and enhancements. Other administrative duties added at management discretion.Conduct satisfactory presentations as required by the company.Continuous learning in relevant areas through available resources.
