With expertise in SAS programming, we provide professional and technical consulting, support services, and training to help our clients optimise their data extraction techniques and understand their customers better.About the JobJob Type: 2-year contractWorkplace: HybridThe Senior SAS Developer will be required to:Analyse, develop, code, test, debug, and document programming on assigned applications to satisfy business requirements for business areasUnderstand use cases, write functional specifications and design documentation, and assist with feature documentationTake full responsibility for supporting the activities related to data collection, review, cleansing, quality, and reporting for end-user adoptionMonitor performance, resolve design and/or code issues, and provide on-call support to ensure that customer service levels are metFollow departmental standards and best practices for coding, testing, and documentationEngage with senior management supplying input for key design and architecture decisions work estimation and resource planningEffectively communicate with project team members and sponsors throughout the project lifecycle (status updates, gaps/risks, roadblocks, testing outcomes)Requirements5 years of SAS development experienceA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.SAS Base Programming Certification is a mustSAS Advanced Programming Certification will be an added advantageSAS Macro ProgrammingStrong SQL experienceExperience in managing very large amounts of dataKnowledge of development methodologies (P+, Agile/SCRUM or others)In-depth experience in automating data processing and programming statistical tests
