OVERVIEW:
The Snr SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) Specialist will be responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP FICO solutions. This role requires deep technical knowledge of SAP FICO and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to optimize financial processes.
- The FICO Specialist plays a pivotal role in the Information Systems organization, working closely with business decision makers and end users to analyze information and document business requirements and map to SAP business processes.

QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
- SAP Certification
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of integration between SAP FICO and other SAP modules, particularly MM, EAM (PM), PS
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP FI and CO modules to meet business requirements and improve financial processes.
- Configure and maintain SAP FICO system settings, including banking, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and internal/external reporting.
- Provide expert-level support for SAP FICO issues, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and system upgrades.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure system changes are thoroughly validated and meet quality standards.
- Strong experience in hybrid model of both projects and support environment
- Exposure to COUPA and understanding of integration with S/4 HANA
- Knowledge of IT Service Management principles and frameworks (ITIL)
- Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and reach agreement
- Accustomed to working under pressure and managing planned and unplanned activities

- Global, cross-cultural work experience
Work Experience:
- 8+ years' expert knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Finance
- 3+ years knowledge of Controlling, Fiori apps
- At least 3 full cycle implementations
- Fluency in French and/or Spanish would be viewed favourably
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Leadership and Strategy: Determine complex business requirements (e.g., Functional and Technical, information needs, business processes) through information-gathering sessions.
- System Configuration and Optimization: Responsible for the configuration of SAP FICO modules to meet business requirements. Optimize SAP FICO processes and system performance to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP FICO functionality and integration.
- Global harmonized solution: Develop solutions to promote the adoption of harmonized ways of working across regions and assets while catering for local processes and jurisdictional compliance items. Negotiate agreement of effective global solutions.
- Process improvement: Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP FICO functionalities. Implement best practices and process improvements while paying careful attention to detail.
- Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate effectively and provide leadership to ensure alignment across the organization.
- Training: Provide training and support to end-users, key stakeholders, and IS teams on FICO functionalities, processes, and best practices. Support development of documentation including user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to solution architecture. Continuously enhance skills and knowledge to remain effective in the role.
