The Santam Direct Call Centre has positions available for Sales Advisors based in Bellville, Cape Town. The successful candidates will offer world-class products and services to clients, while achieving sales targets in an outbound call centre environment.
Responsible for inbound/outbound telephonic communication with the client base. Ensures the quality of service exceeds customer expectations and establishes constructive relationships with the client base. Utilizes the IT system accurately and ensures all queries are answered effectively. Refers calls to appropriate departments only if unable to solve queries appropriately. Deals with more complex queries, often entailing amendments to payments made. Provides accurate product information to clients in line with standards and protocols and may have supervisory responsibilities.

Matric/ Grade 12RE CertificateEXPERIENCE
Minimum 30 Personal Lines Short-term Insurance creditsMinimum 2-5 years experience within a sales outbound call centre.Compliance with FAIS Fit and Proper criteria i.e. minimum experience and competency requirementsConsistent target achievementSolid out-bound call centre experience and skillsLeads warm-up and cold calling will be mandatory.Clear record of accomplishment in terms of adherence to quality standards and complianceKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Knowledge of short-term insurance processes, procedures, and business rules advantageousFluent in English and one other official language.Strong relationship, negotiating, and networking skillsAbility to influence.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
