Senior Safety Officer - Mining

Senior Safety Officer (Assignment)
Urgently required for our well-established Engineering Client with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar/same role in the mining sector and tertiary qualifications as indicated below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
All functions associated with the role of Senior Safety Officer in the mining sector.
Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Safety Officer in the mining sector.
Extensive knowledge of health and safety practices in the mining industry including an appropriate tertiary qualification in OSH and MHSA, COMSOC and SAMTRAC.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Energetic, ambitious and committed to maintaining safety and compliance in the working environment.
