Senior Revenue AccountantSoluGrowth is in search of a Senior Revenue Accountant to provide excellent accounting services as part of the Global Business Services Center. The candidate will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate Revenue accounting services to our business unit(s) including contract review, deal creation plus being a key contributor in the financial month-end close process for rebates and incentives, and rebate and incentive payment validation, processing, and approval.This is a 6 months fixed-term contract position.RESPONSIBILITIES:Review executed contracts and create customers, deals and incentives in the Contra Revenue System (CRS).Accomplish timely, accurate close of the CRS sub ledger and Oracle general ledger including creation and review of journal entries.Identify and prepare manual journal entries through the analysis of close results, trends and actual to budget/forecast.Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations.Perform detailed review of rebate and incentive payment requests including contract review and validation of driver data to various internal systems.Prepare and approve rebate and incentive payments with proper supporting documentation.Provide overall support and customer service to business partners located throughout the organization.Recommend, develop and implement process improvements to improve accounting operational efficiency, quality of output and optimize synergies.Monitor performance indicators to track progress against goals.Perform various ad-hoc reporting, analysis or projects, as needed.Partner with financial systems regarding CRS requirements, data, reporting, and functionality.Review CRS deal creation submissions made by Rebates and Incentives team.Other duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEDegree or equivalent.Completed SAICA articles.3 years plus Revenue Accounting experience.5 years plus Corporate Accounting experience.Experience in E-Commerce or FinTech industries.Multinational experience preferred.
