"Our client specializing in EPCm & Infrastructure Projects is seeking a SENIOR RESIDENT ENGINEER – ROADS with a minimum of 15 years of experience to oversee and managing road construction projects based in KWAZULU-NATAL."

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for overseeing and managing road construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Provide technical guidance, impart knowledge, and transfer skills to junior engineers and other team members.
Assist in resolving contractual issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations and contractual obligations.
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of road construction projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.


QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENT:

B.Sc. or B.Eng. in civil engineering; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Registered Engineer (ECSA)
Minimum of 15 years of experience in road construction and project management.
Proven experience in skill transfer and team development.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, quality control, and safety regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
