The Research Officer is responsible for the provision of prospect and general research services to the Advancement team within the Rotman School of Management.
Your responsibilities will include: Writing comprehensive and complex donor profilesConducting advanced research and analysis from a variety of sources to provide detailed background data on donorsKeeping well-informed on business and events in the media which may have a direct effect on fundraising effortsAssessing and selecting prospective donors using independent judgementEssential Qualifications: Master's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.Minimum three years in progressively more senior research intensive role.Demonstrated experience in a business or academic environment.Exceptional research skills and written communication skills.Computer literacy, including MS Office, databases and desktop publishing.Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral communication and analytical skills.Evidence of leadership and initiative, tact, diplomacy, attention to detail and creativity.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding, deadline-oriented environment.Assets (Nonessential): Master of Library and Information Science or Masters of Journalism.Knowledge of university practices and cultures.Knowledge of the business community.Knowledge of the Arbor database.To be successful in this role you will be: Goal orientedMeticulousMulti-taskerResourcefulSelf-directedTeam playerClosing Date: 09/11/2024, 11:59PM ET
