A multinational payments firm operating across Africa is currently seeking a Senior Reporting Manager to join their expanding team at their Cape Town offices.

Joining a dynamic Finance Department, as the Senior Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the consolidation and reporting of group financials on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
You will work closely with the Finance and FP&A teams to deliver quality management and statutory reports to both internal and external stakeholders.

The Senior Reporting Manager will be a key player in scaling accounting processes in this fast-growth business and have an overall responsibility for delivering successful Group audit and related financial statements.

Key qualifications and experience required for the Senior Reporting Manager: Fully qualified CA(SA) Big 4 training with large, listed, corporate clients (preferable) Min.
of 3 years' post qualified experience (out of audit) Strong technical accounting background with proven ability to draft accounting policy guidance and ensure ongoing IFRS compliance NB - Experience working with multi-national and multi-currency Group structures, operating across Africa and/or globally Key duties of the Senior Reporting Manager: Deliver successful Group and local statutory audits including related Group financial statements Project manage internal teams to ensure data requested is received in accordance with timetables Own the Group consolidation and related internal and external reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Support the development and implementation of best-in-class reporting practices for a fast-growing business Work closely with the FP&A and accounting teams to develop Group reporting projects and drive improvements in group reporting capabilities Ensure ongoing compliance with IFRS including drafting accounting policy notes and guidance Consult with the finance team on the design and implementation of effective controls across the Group's processes to adhere to internationally accepted standards and regulations Key personal skills: Effective communication and engagement with stakeholders at all levels Collaborative team player Strong leadership abilities Driven, ambitious and business-savvy Excellent interpersonal skills Time management, goal setting and value creation focus Strong analytical skills, initiative and resilience If you are a dynamic and driven finance professional looking to be part of a "best in class" finance function and at the heart of a hugely impressive business, then please get in touch for a discussion about this role.
