The company is known for its commitment to excellence and offers a challenging and rewarding work environment.Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with relevant accounting standardsTimeous and accurate monthly, quarterly, half year and full year reporting to Hong Kong in MandarinCalculation, preparation and submission of relevant taxesManage external auditors relations not in SAAssist in supply information to internal auditor (Hong Kong/China)Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policiesManage the financial close process and perform month-end and year-end activitiesConduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-makingCoordinate with internal and external auditors during auditsAssist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecastsMonitor and review accounting processes and systems for efficiency and effectivenessDevelop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organizationProvide guidance and support to junior accounting staffRequirements:Bcom in Accounting/CA/SA or MBAMinimum of 5 years' experience in finance related role within the mining industry, of which 2 years were at management level.Fluent in English and MandarinComputer Literate - excel, word and SAPThorough understanding of IFRS and other relevant accounting standardsInternational Tax and Forex regulationsAdvanced knowledge of financial systems and toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesBenefits:Market Related SalaryContact Hire Resolve today for your next career changing move.
