Senior Renewable Energy Consultant

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Renewable Energy Consultant to join their team in Cape Town. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and project management support for solar and wind energy projects across Africa.Qualifications and Experience:Master's degree in engineering or a related field.5+ years of experience in renewable energy consulting, with a focus on solar and wind projects.In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, project finance, and contract negotiation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in relevant technical software (e.g., PVsyst, WindPRO, etc.).Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage technical due diligence assignments, including financial, technical, and contractual assessments.Oversee project feasibility studies, design reviews, and construction monitoring.Provide technical advisory services to clients during project development, construction, and operation phases.Conduct technical inspections and site visits to assess project progress and identify potential issues.Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
