These jobs were popular with other job seekersOur client in the FMCG manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced Supply Chain and RawMaterials Management professional for a vacancy in their Diep River plant, reporting to the Raw Materials and Packaging Manager. This role provides a significant opportunity for growth in both scope and responsibilities within the company. Duties & Responsibilities• Recommending and implementing cost-effective improvements in the department• Forecasting of all Raw Material, Masterbatch & packaging requirements• Monitoring supplier deliveries daily & general supplier performance• Ensuring that the raw materials are distributed on time and correctly to production departments• Monitoring slow-moving and dead stock• Ensuring stock is handled correctly and all spillages and breakages are reported• Conducting cycle counting and monthly and yearly stock counts• Ensuring orders are placed for Raw Materials and Packaging• Responsible for reporting stock variances in material and packaging• Ensuring correct documentation of invoicing, receipts, and all other relevant documentation as per the ISO standards• Attending weekly meetings with planning concerning material and packaging requirements• Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures• Supervising, scheduling and motivating staff• Managing staff performance, training and development• Practicing a high standard of Housekeeping and SafetyDesired Experience & Qualification• Supply/Logistics Degree/Diploma or equivalent.• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain environment in a leadership role• Computer literate (MS OFFICE, EXCEL Advance, WORD, SAP)• Knowledge of Raw Materials would be advantageous.• Highly self-motivated, energetic with the ability to motivate others• Have an ability to interact and communicate on all levels of departments• Strong planning and organizational skills• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines• A positive attitude and always striving to be THE BEST• Passionate about excellent service• Team playerPackage & RemunerationR45 000 Basic + BenefitsInterested?Please submit a copy of your CV and supporting documents (ID, Qualifications and a Recent Payslip)Please Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and psychometric testing will be required HR Services, Recruitment & Selection These jobs were popular with other job seekers#J-18808-Ljbffr
