Senior Quality Manager (Fmcg)

More about the opportunity: Proudly South African FMCG group requires the expertise of a Senior Quality Manager focused on Food Safety to oversee all aspects of Quality Management across their factories and Distribution Centres. This is a senior-level role within the organization and reports to the COO and General Managers. This organization is known for its staff tenure and with recent expansion its team is growing. Responsibilities: Ensuring that all requirements for FSSC 22000 and other relevant Food Safety Management Systems are met. Work closely with Quality Managers on audits Oversee SOP's and policies Ensure alignment between the Quality Department and stakeholders Production and Operations meetings Opportunity to visit sites across South Africa every month Requirements: Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences or a related field 5-10 years' experience in senior quality control roles Experience in the food manufacturing or production environment (FMCG) 3-5 years' in a management capacity overseeing staff and operations Expert in food safety systems and audits Strong business acumen and ability to engage in a team An Independent and people-centric person would be ideal Apply now
