What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
Analyse requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios.
Design, co-ordinate, and execute testing, working closely with your team to validate solutions against business requirements.
Plan, schedule, and prioritise tests.
Prepare and maintain test environments, including creating appropriate test data.
Maintain and enhance the test case repository to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Track and report software defects, providing test results and status updates to stakeholders.
Ensure mitigation strategies are met and exceeded, escalating where necessary.
Continuously improve testing tools, processes, and environments.
What You Bring
Qualifications & Experience
3-4 year degree or diploma.
ISTQB / ISEB Certification (advantageous).
5-7 years of testing experience, with exposure to manual and automation testing.
Solid understanding of software testing approaches, methodologies, and frameworks.
Experience in the Financial Services industry (advantageous).
Familiarity with agile teams and frameworks such as Scrum.
Proficiency in manual testing methodologies.
Experience with Microsoft Productivity Tools.
Strong analytical skills to enhance your ability to understand and test complex financial applications.
Ability to manage the stress and demands of a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
