Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Psychometrist to join our team at Nelson Mandela University. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and administering the teaching and learning of students in modules related to psychometry, as well as conducting research, supervising students, and contributing to community engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Lecturing and Module Coordination: Take full responsibility for various modules, including theoretical and practical components, according to the needs of the Department.Programme Coordination: Coordinate and handle all professional administrative tasks related to the Psychometry programme of equivalence.Research and Supervision: Assist with research in the department and supervise senior undergraduate and post-graduate students in research.Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to psychometry students.Administrative and Academic Support: Assist with academic and operational administration, including development work and engagement activities.Professional Development: Study towards a doctoral degree.Requirements: Qualifications: Master's degree in Psychology or equivalent.Registration: Registration with the HPCSA as an independent Psychometrist for a minimum of 3 years and currently active.Knowledge and Skills: Excellent knowledge base in Psychometry, good teaching skills, and experience in facilitating learning.What We Offer: Nelson Mandela University offers a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
