Senior Project Manager/ Technical Lead

Job description:Supervise Technical Aspects: Lead the design and implementation phases of various HVAC projectsDirect Large-Scale Projects: Guide the design and execution of extensive industrial HVAC systemsManage Estimation and Budgeting: Handle cost estimation, control, and support project tendering and budget managementEnsure Timely Project Delivery: Oversee project timelines to ensure deadlines are met consistentlyOversee Technical Teams: Supervise technical staff and contractors to ensure project objectives are metReport Progress to Management: Regularly update management on project progress and milestonesCoordinate Project Activities: Manage project activities including site coordination, meetings, and schedulingPrepare Technical Documents: Compile and submit technical documents necessary for project approval processesMaintain Change Logs: Keep detailed logs of changes and variation orders, ensuring all changes and costs are documented accuratelyCommunicate Delays: Inform builders and relevant stakeholders about any project delays promptlyAvoid Penalties: Manage project schedules and communicate delays to mitigate potential penaltiesOversee Claims Process: Manage the claims process, including the verification of certificates and addressing any claims-related queriesSkills & Experience: Valid driver's licenseOver 5 years of experience in engineering design and construction management; HVAC experience is a plusProfessional registration (PrENG, PrTech, etc.) is advantageous Qualification:BSc/ BEng/ BTech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferable; postgraduate studies are advantageous Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.Contact CAELLI PENTZ on
