Senior Project Manager - Supply Chain and ProcurementJob Openings Senior Project Manager - Supply Chain and ProcurementAbout the job Senior Project Manager - Supply Chain and ProcurementKey purpose:As a Senior Project Manager you'll be responsible for leading large scale projects, working with internal stakeholders to get the project completed on time and within budget. You'll manage an in-house team of professional project managers who will help you complete your work. You should have experience managing multiple projects concurrently, while also being able to work independently when required. Additionally, you'll need excellent negotiation skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure that everyone is kept up-to-date at all times regarding progress on the project.Duties and responsibilities:Developing and maintaining project management deliverables (schedule, documentation, reporting) and keeping it updated as the project progressesIdentifying, managing and communicating changes (risks and issues) that may affect the projects scope or timelineManaging project team members by delegating tasks and setting expectations for performanceMonitoring resource allocation, timelines, and other key metrics to ensure project milestones are metFacilitating meetings with stakeholders to ensure effective communication about projectsMonitoring and controlling work input and scope to ensure that all projects remain on track and in controlEnsuring the projects and activities are executed in the most efficient and agile way based on agreed company methodologies, tools, and processesPlanning and managing program stakeholders, scope, activities, conflict resolution, and approach in and across a highly matrixed global organization through direct interaction and communication, regular status reports and personally managing escalations, when necessaryApply a structured methodology (ADKAR, PROSCII) and lead change management activitiesLeverage a change management methodology, process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiativeEnable the design, development, delivery and management of key communicationsAssess the change impact and stakeholder analysisConduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholdersSupport training effortsProvide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programsQualifications and experience:Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field required5 years of experience in Supply Chain managementMust have a strong background in supply chain and procurement5 years experience in supply chain and/or procurement management requiredProficiency in project management methodology, tools, and templates (includes project planning, schedule development, scope management and cost management)Formidable team working skills across matrixed client, supplier, and geographically dispersed virtual teamsInstrumental in the use of IT methodologies, processes, and standards for project management (e.g., MS Project Server)PMP certification is desirableExperience in delivery that includes the use of external supplier and offshore resources
