Job ResponsibilitiesMDT Foods cc t/a MDT Technical Placements is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project execution. The key responsibilities include:Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility.Ensure resource availability and allocation.Manage changes in the project scope, schedule, and costs.Report and escalate to management as needed.Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.Perform risk management to minimize project risks.Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.Manage issues and problems that may arise.Review client's specifications for adherence to capabilities and provide construction alternatives when necessary.Conduct conference calls with clients and attend client-facing meetings with Sales/Client.Create project scopes for complex individual projects.Conduct regular meetings with vendors when needed.Monitor and suggest improvements to operational workflows to interface with vendors.Work with the project team to adhere to project controls and processes.Facilitate the definition of the project scope and the subsequent control.Review and be responsible for the overall work effort and deliverables of the project team.Manage the project budget to ensure accurate tracking and forecasting.Ensure applications for payment to the owner are properly submitted and payment is promptly received.Inform management about the progress of the project, its financial status, and current owner relations.Examine all drawings and specifications for design deficiencies and resolve them with the design team.Implement and maintain prescribed quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.AdministrationDevelop a detailed project plan to track progress.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.Organize meetings, create agendas, and take minutes.Perform administrative duties as necessary.Collate costs for invoicing.Keep updated on compliance regulations.Create and update project scope for complex individual projects.Set out timelines/schedules and present to the client.Maintain status sheets with actual dates for tasks completed.Provide minutes of calls/meetings as a follow-up.Develop and maintain necessary records and files for efficient operation.Review and manage all project issues, changes, and risks through formally defined processes.Ensure compliance with insurance, HSE, labor relations, and employment regulations.Achieve reporting and forecasting of costs through a cost value reconciliation format on an accurate and timely basis.Ensure additional project costs are submitted and accounted for in a timely manner.Have a complete understanding of the Contract Documents, the General Contract, and the Subcontracts.Prepare and submit requisitions for subcontracts and purchase orders on a timely basis.
