Senior Project Manager

Underpinned by a global footprint with local presence, we are a market-leading technology, engineering, construction and service partner for industrial plants and systems.The successful incumbent will be required to fulfil the following job description but not limited to:Implementation of projects with budget >R300m.Accountable for project scope within the agreed time and cost in compliance with thyssenkrupp Uhde SA procedures.Loading of new Project Product Structure into Daproh.Confirm Project Categorisation.Prepare Project Charter and get it authorised by Project Owner.Project risk assessment and implement agreed mitigating action.Collaborate with Commercial Department on:Project financial performance reporting.Compile, manage and resolve Claims/Compensation Events to the Client.Manage and resolve Claims for Suppliers and Subcontractors.Responsible for all activities to RFC (Ready for Commissioning) of new production facilities.Qualification:Engineering Degree or Equivalent.Experience:15 years' project management or relevant engineering experience.Site or commissioning experience advantageous.An in-depth knowledge of the NEC and FIDIC forms of contract would be an advantage.Additional Educational Requirements:PMP from Project Management Institute.Microsoft Office working knowledge/P6 working knowledge.
