The role of Senior Manager, Project Portfolio plays a critical role in overseeing NTT's client implementation complex project portfolio, including the optimisation of resource allocation, managing risks, and driving successful project execution.
This is a leadership role contributing to continued success in supporting the delivery of high-impact projects that drive business value for clients and project profitability and client satisfaction for NTT.
This is a people management role responsible for leading and supporting a client implementation project team(s) to achieve their goals and deliver optimal results.
What you'll be doing
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage project initiation by developing and ensuring project charter approval, identify and engage stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and meeting minutes. Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date in the PMO Toolset as well as project folders.
Identify, manage, and communicate changes (risks, issues, actions and decisions) that may affect the project.
Able to problem solve and conflict manage situations that may arise on the project.
Manage project team members by delegating tasks and setting expectations for performance.
Monitor resource allocation, timelines, and other key metrics to ensure project milestones are met.
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to ensure effective communication about projects.
Monitor and control work input and scope to ensure that all projects remain on track and in control.
Ensure projects and activities are executed in the most efficient and agile way based on agreed company methodologies, tools, and processes.
Plan and manage program stakeholders, scope, activities, conflict resolution, and approach in a highly matrixed global organization through direct interaction and communication, regular status reports, and personally managing escalations when necessary.
Report on financial progress on the project, control variances and ensure approvals.
Follow the change methodology, participate, facilitate, drive the deliverables and manage feedback with senior leadership on the project to ensure successful adoption.
Change Management (Lead/Participate if required)
Apply a structured methodology (ADKAR, PROSCI) and lead change management activities.
Leverage a change management methodology, process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
Support communication efforts.
Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications.
Assess the change impact and stakeholder analysis.
Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
Support training efforts.
Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or Project Management or related field.
PMP certification or equivalent is essential.
