Senior Project Manager - Cyber Security

12 months contract opportunity. Our Mining sector client is looking for a Senior Project Manager who has successfully delivered cybersecurity remediation projects.
Requirements: Matric & relevant Degree ITPMP, Prince2, or other recognized project management certifications are required.Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years managing cybersecurity or IT security projects, specifically focused on remediation efforts.Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, POPIA, PCI-DSS).Proven experience managing projects across multiple teams or departments, particularly within IT security and compliance environments.Overall Responsibilities: The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of cybersecurity remediation projects within the organization.He/She will be responsible for ensuring that all project objectives, including security, compliance, and risk mitigation, are met within the agreed timelines, budget, and scope.
