Senior Project Management Consultant

Job Title: Senior Project Management Consultant Location: Gauteng, West Rand District, Westonaria Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Mining Job Duties: Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met Provide expertise in underground mining operations to support project delivery Utilise Microsoft Project and PowerBI to track project performance and produce reports Required Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in underground mining Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management Proficiency in Microsoft Project and PowerBI Education: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field Experience: Extensive experience in managing underground mining projects Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of underground mining operations Excellent project management skills Ability to analyse data and produce meaningful reports using PowerBI Effective communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Master's degree in Mining Engineering or related field Working Conditions: This role is based in a mining environment and may require working in underground conditions. Travel to project sites may be necessary.
