Required Skills and CompetenciesKnowledge and experience in project management and execution of projects using advanced and digital project tools.Experience in business process reengineering methodologies.Development and design of policy frameworks and guidelines.Knowledge and experience in developing strategic plans, operational strategies, and monitoring.Knowledge and extensive experience in Risk Management.Experience in conducting research and managing technical committees.Experience in stakeholder engagement.Proven track record of working in the public sector and collaborating with Public, Private, and Non-Governmental Organizations.Ability to perform multiple tasks and work under pressure with a wide range of individuals and institutions.Maintain confidentiality at the highest level at all times.Proficiency in one of the AU official working languages (French, English, Portuguese, Arabic) and fluency in another AU language(s) is an added advantage.Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.Education and ExperienceCandidates must have a Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, or a related field plus a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience, of which three (3) years should be at a supervisory level within public sector institutions or similar organizations nationally, regionally, and/or continentally.
Or a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, or a related field plus a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience within public sector institutions or similar organizations nationally, regionally, and/or continentally.
