Job Title: Senior Professional Nurse - Theatre Location:  Plettenberg Bay Salary: Market related Vacancy Type: Full-Time     Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required: Degree/ Diploma in General Nursing 3 years post qualification experience Pharmacology Nursing record keeping Nursing processes and procedures Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Relevant nursing legislation Infection prevention and control Scientific nursing principles and process Audit patient records Patient assessment skills Develop/ modify a nursing care plan Scope of practice for nurse practitioners For specialised wards; ACLS; ATLS; PALS trained; Risk identification Analysing and interpretation skills Basic life support trained Mentorship   Beneficial requirements:   Education: Midwifery Post graduate certificate/ diploma in speciality area Duties and responsibilities:   To ensure a safe, positive patient experience by supporting the unit manager in the co-ordination of patient care and management of the unit.
