Over the last 50 years, we have become a credible service provider in this field.Role DescriptionWe are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated senior professional nurse to join our dynamic and supportive multi-professional team providing in-patient care for people with substance use disorders.The Senior Professional Nurse is responsible for managing human and resources; managing the medical department budget and stock; ensuring patient and staff satisfaction; maintaining a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors; ensuring standards and quality of care are maintained; and aligning the unit's goals with the Centre's goals.REQUIREMENTS:The successful candidate will have:South African CitizenPolice Clearance CertificateMinimum qualification – Nursing DegreeThe ability to deliver high quality patient careExceptional leadership qualitiesStrong inter-personal, communication and organisational skillsAbility to work in a multi-disciplinary teamRegistration with SANCWillingness to work shiftsThe ability to adhere to standards and best practicesWill be able to ensure that administration is maintained according to the Aurora Centre's Nursing policiesMinimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Registered Professional NurseMinimum 10 years' experience as a Registered Professional NurseThe following attributes are also desirable:Extensive knowledge of modern nursing care principles and practices in this highly specialised fieldDispensing LicenceExperience in substance use disorder treatmentExperience in dispensing, administration of medication and performing drug-screening testsAbility to focus on care by teaching patients positive health behaviours and skills needed to maintain a healthy sober lifestylePlease email your CV to: ****** DATE: As soon as possible CLOSING DATE: 26/08/2024Applications who have not received any response within 10 days should regard their application as unsuccessful.
