Senior Production Engineer

Duties:Process lead in feasibility studiesLead SQAM activities (Process)Lead and approve MIFC/Value stream mapping activitiesCreate weld jig conceptsCreate stamping sheetsReview and approval weld jig designsWeld Jig evaluation and buying off weld jigsTooling evaluation and buying off toolingPlant engineering and trouble shooting of processes, machinery, tooling etc.Designing of manufacturing processesIndustrialization of projects to production buy off phase, new product launches such as localization tooling/non-automotive componentsEnsure there is an effective and cost-efficient structure in place.coach and develop a team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.Minimum Requirements:Qualification in EngineeringMinimum of 8 years experience in production/process engineering in an automotive environment.Sound knowledge of SQAM, VDA6 and other customer requirements.Knowledge and understanding of CADKnowledge and understanding of IATF 16949, ISO14001 and VDA6.
