Senior Procurement Specialist: Infrastructure Fund

The Infrastructure Fund announced by the President in September 2018 addresses the need for a dedicated blended finance facility for infrastructure projects. The Fund aims to transform public infrastructure financial provisioning using blended finance - combining public and private sector capital, and Development Finance Institutions/Multilateral Development Banks. This will be dedicated to hybrid projects.The Fund's mandate is captured in a Memorandum of Agreement between the National Treasury, Infrastructure South Africa, and the DBSA, dated 17 August 2020.Position OverviewThe Senior Procurement Specialist will provide procurement support services to ensure effective contracting throughout large-scale infrastructure projects and programmes. They will be the primary interface with the Supply Chain Management unit of the DBSA.
