Senior Procurement Manager

REQUIREMENTS Matric, Degree in Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain At least 3 years management experience in Procurement or Supply Chain in an Industrial manufacturing environment Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire a team Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills DUTIES Management and coordination of all Procurement activities for the business which includes the various manufacturing operations Provide Procurement best practice and continuous optimisation support to the business Ensure that Procurement contributes to the business achieving its objectives Ensure Procurement compliance to group procurement, financial and code of ethics policies Prepare and manage annual budget preparation and quarterly outlooks for key commodities Manage Key commodity, service, and capital purchase price negotiations Manage key commodity order placement, delivery, and stock levels in conjunction with Production Planning Tender issue and evaluation for key commodities, services, and capital purchases Manage contract implementation for key commodities, services, and capital purchases Continuous improvement initiatives through regular supplier and commodity reviews Oversee supplier performance Manage Procurement Personnel recruitment and performance Maintain Procurement Supplier and Commodity information on the group SharePoint portal including key commodity trends and analyses.
