Senior Process Engineer

Underpinned by a global footprint with local presence, we are a market-leading technology, engineering, construction and service partner for industrial plants and systems.Combining over 100 years of global experience with over 60 years of local African know-how, thyssenkrupp Uhde Africa is a specialist provider of a range of advanced chemical technologies and integrated, environmentally friendly EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) solutions and services.As an environmentally-responsible company, our vision is to create a livable planet through engineering green solutions.Job Responsibilities:The scope of this role will require the incumbent to work in a projects-based environment covering all phases of project execution (feasibility, concept, basic, detail, construction support and commissioning).The individual will engage in process design activities related to producing and checking process engineering deliverables to legal & industry standards and Client expectations.Function in a resource and/or lead role on projects, working to a budget and schedule.Skilled in the use of Process Simulation and Design/Sizing Software.Perform complex calculations, including safety calculations.Lead Design and Safety Reviews.Minimum Requirements:BSc Chemical Engineering degree with 12 years engineering experience.Experience in Oil and Gas/PetroChemical environment is essential.Experience with an EPC Contractor is essential (8 years).Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA.
