Join a leading provider of water treatment solutions as a Senior Process/Applications Engineer within their Business Development division.
In this role, you will be responsible for marketing and selling the full range of equipment and solutions to a diverse customer base, including intermediaries and end users.
As an OEM Applications Engineer, you will effectively communicate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, ensuring complete customer satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales process.
Additionally, you will build and maintain strong relationships to support long-term business growth.
A solid background in water treatment, encompassing chemical dosing, measurement, control instrumentation, and solutions such as Ultrafiltration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO), settlers, and thickeners, is essential for success in this position.
This role also offers a competitive income structure, combining a basic salary with a commission-based component to reward your performance and contributions.
Requirements:BEng in Chemical Engineering (BEng ONLY).Proven working experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on technical solutions.
Minimum of [3] years preferred.Willingness and ability to accompany clients to underground sites to identify challenges and propose tailored solutions.Experience in tender submissions and preparing quotes.Strong presentation skills, particularly with PowerPoint and other relevant tools, for client and internal engagements.Valid driver's license and own vehicle.Valid passport with the ability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
Duties:Sales and Marketing:Promote and sell the full range of equipment solutions to a diverse customer base.Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.Generate and manage leads, including cold calling.Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to turning quotes into orders.Customer Interaction:Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.Respond to functional and technical requests from clients promptly and accurately.Understand and convey customer requirements to the engineering teams.Ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.Technical Expertise:Provide in-depth knowledge of water treatment solutions, including UF, RO, settlers,thickeners, and chemical dosing measurement and control instrumentation.Support project implementation post-sale, ensuring technical and operational requirements are met.Presentation and Representation:Represent the company's products and solutions to customers.Present tailored solutions to meet customer needs and requirements.Additional Duties:Perform other duties as required by the business, even if not specifically listed in the job description.
