Senior Planner Buyer

Senior Supply Planner / Buyer - JohannesburgThis Supply Planner will be responsible for ensuring that the required inventory level of both raw materials (RM) and finished goods (FG) are maintained, in order to meet or exceed customer order fill rates.
This person will be a vital member of S&OP.
Assisting with other financial requirements including, but not limited to, monthly costing submissions and reviews of supplier requirements.Responsibilities:Planning delivery timetablesEnsuring stores have enough stockMaking sure suppliers have enough stock to meet demandOverseeing the ordering and packaging processMonitoring stock levelsTracking products through depots to make sure they arrive at their destinationOverseeing the arrival of shipmentsEnsuring targets are metAssisting with monthly costing processesPreventing risk in the form of expiry stock and assisting in managing thisRequirements:Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering.
A minimum of 3 years experience in a Supply Planning / Buyer roles within a Manufacturing environment, preferable Pharma.Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
