About the job Senior Payroll OfficerOgilvy Johannesburg is looking for a reliable and experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join the Shared Services team to support the National Payroll Manager.Main Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesEnsure the accuracy of Payroll preparation and processingApply for Tax Numbers for new EmployeesUpdate Payroll records including Transfers, Job Title changes, deductions and other changesPayroll related employee termination calculationsPartner with Talent Management regarding Payroll related mattersPreparation of payroll schedules and submissionsProcess payroll related entries in the accounting systemReconciliation of all Control AccountsManage Payroll related SARS submissions.Monthly reconciliation of 12 month report to general ledgerPreparation of headcount schedule for all business unitsDeal with Department of Labour / Workmans Compensation queriesManage Payroll related audit queriesManage day to day payroll related queriesEducation and ExperienceDiploma in Finance/ Bookkeeping/ PayrollMinimum of 10 years experience working in a finance environment with payroll related experienceOffice 365SAGE Payroll SystemESSEASYFILE (SARS)Accounting system (Pastel/Evolution / Navision)
