Job Position: Senior Payroll Controller

Location: PE/Gqeberha
Salary: R30 000 to R37 000 per month commensurate with qualification and experience + Provident and medical aid

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30 AM to 5 PM and Fridays 8.30 AM to 4 PM

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Minimum of Matric
• Worked in payroll and wages in a Factory environment with a weekly payroll
• Proven experience as a Payroll Controller, having been responsible for a medium to large payroll (approximately 200 employees)
• Experience with payroll processing, utilizing VIP and familiarity with payroll taxes and regulations
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced and pressurized environment

Key Performance Areas:
• Process and manage all aspects of payroll, including calculating hours, calculating deductions, processing new hires and terminations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Administer employee benefits, including medical aid, retirement plans, and other benefits
• Prepare and maintain accurate and timely payroll records and reports
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee questions about payroll and benefits
• Ensure compliance
• Assist with HR, when necessary
