ELIGIBILITY:Suitably qualified candidates.CLOSING DATE:04.10.2024REFERENCE NUMBER:CS 165/24 extSALARY:TCOE: R 1005233.00 p.aDEPARTMENT:Human ResourcesDIRECTORATE:CORPORATE SERVICES Senior Payroll and Benefits AdministrationPROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:A relevant tertiary qualification (B Tech or B degree) in Human Resources, Public Administration, Finance or a similar field.A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in a payroll and benefits environment coupled with 3 years' supervisory experience.Working knowledge of SAP-based payroll administration would be advantageous.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:Providing a professional corporate payroll and benefits administration service to clients.Managing and monitoring the consistent application of approved business processes, controls measures, and risk.Project Management.Overseeing the approved payroll cut-off dates, absence management policy, and specialist adjustments to promote the production of acceptable quality payroll results that meet audit requirements.Ensuring supervision of staff to effectively measure performance, including but not limited to leave and absence management, performance and development, and formal and informal disciplinary issues.Recognising and advising on the use of technology to improve service delivery.Analysing, balancing, and reconciling complex accounts, financial data, and information.Maintaining relationships to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with corporate policies.
