Senior Payroll Administrator (Sage 300)

A well-established automotive and financing services conglomerate seeks to employ a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their head office team based in Johannesburg East. The successful incumbent will possess strong working knowledge of Sage 300 People.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Full payroll functionApplication for tax directivesCompleting statutory returns and handling of statutory paymentsCompleting IRP 501 recons and year-end on EasyfileDealing with staff queriesGarnishees & maintenance ordersHandling administration of medical aid, provident and funeral fundsCapturing employee data in respect of engagements, terminations, transfers, and promotionsReconciliations of medical aid, provident and other third-party paymentsImporting dataChecking payroll variancesPreparing payroll files for finance and producing reports for month-endFiling & scanningEducation Requirements: Completed Matric (Grade 12)Tertiary qualification in accounting or payroll preferredJob Requirements and Skills: 4 to 5 years' experience in a Senior Payroll Administrator position essentialSage 300 People working knowledge ESSENTIALStrong understanding of statutory payments and returnsPayroll accounting and reporting to finance experience essentialProficient in MS packagesDeadline drivenAbility to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environmentTeam playerIf this sounds like you; please do not hesitate to apply!
