Senior Payroll Administrator (Sage 300)

Duties will include, but are not limited to:Full payroll functionApplication for Tax DirectivesCompleting Statutory returns and handling of statutory paymentsCompleting of IRP 501 recons and year-end on EasyfileDealing with staff queriesGarnishees & maintenance OrdersHandling administration of medical aid, provident and funeral fundsResponsible for capturing employee data in respect of engagements, terminations, transfers, and promotionsReconciliations of medical aid, provident and other third- party paymentsImporting dataChecking payroll variancesPreparing payroll files for finance and producing reports for month-endFiling & ScanningEducation Requirements:Completed Matric (Grade 12)Tertiary qualification in accounting or payroll preferredJob Requirements and Skills:4 to 5 years' experience in a Senior Payroll Administrator position essentialSage 300 People working knowledge ESSENTIALStrong understanding of statutory payments and returnsPayroll accounting and reporting to finance experience essentialProficient in MS packagesDeadline drivenAbility to work in a high pressure, fast paced environmentTeam playerIf this sounds like you; please do not hesitate to apply!
