Senior Network Security Engineer And Isms Consultant

VACANCY – Senior network security engineer and ISMS consultant
LOCATION – Pretoria Gezina

The ISMS Consultant will play a key role in developing, implementing, maintaining, and
improving the organization's Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance
with ISO 27001 standards.
The candidate will provide strategic guidance, perform risk assessments, and ensure
compliance with relevant regulations and standards to protect the organization's information
assets.
The candidate will also provide general IT management and network security support to the
team that is stationed at the client.
Primarily office-based at our client in Gezina, Pretoria.
Standard office hours, Monday to Friday with occasional on-call or after-hours support
required as necessary.
Some afterhours systems maintenance.
• Education and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in information security and/or ISMS implementation.
Proven track record of achieving or maintaining ISO 27001 certification.
Experience with risk management, compliance, and audit processes.
• Skills and Competencies
In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and related frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST).
Strong understanding of IT systems, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to security challenges.
