We're seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our Motion Graphics Team.Job Function:The role of the Senior Motion Graphics Artist is to conceptualise, develop and present storyboards, for the graphic design and layout of animation for TVCs, broadcast toolkits, video intros, titles and explainer videos across all platforms, amongst others.Job Description:Create TVCs and broadcast toolkits from concept to executionCreate animations for event and marketing videos e.g. lower thirds, titles, explainer videosEdit video with recorded audio for animationsWork closely with graphic designers to ensure designs are implemented to brief.Adapt promotional artwork for video productionProduce creative promotional artworkMaintain department server orderCreate visuals for the digital marketing and social media departments (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Blog)Continuously assess the competitor and keep up with industry trendsScamping of new ideas for visual representation - StoryboardsLiaise with the design department to get campaign artworkWork closely with copy writers, designers etc., to develop content, optimize the use of each digital channel for campaign efforts and execute the campaign visionTake direction from department leadership, including documenting detailed requirements, and asking questions to clarify assignmentsEvaluate emerging technologies; provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriateContribute to brainstorming new and creative growth strategiesAd hoc duties as requiredSoft Knowledge:Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects3D software: Cinema 4D and/or BlenderRequirements:MatricValid Driver licenseMust have strong skills in Cinema 4D and After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.Must be advanced as a Motion Graphic Artist as will be overseeing a team and giving direction.Must be creative and have a sharp skill set to work within tight deadlines.Must understand the software as a senior animator.3 years experience in a similar roleDiploma/Degree in related field preferredExperience within a multimedia environmentMUST PROVIDE A SHOWREEL - 3D Animation & online portfolioWorking hours: Must be willing to work overtime when neededSalary: Between Market Related plus Provident FundSurgo (Pty) Ltd will consider all applications in terms of its Employment Equity (EE) and is committed to maintaining diversity in its appointments.
