About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Motion/Animation Designer to join our team at Ogilvy South Africa. The ideal candidate has a great creative sense of social platforms and how to build all kinds of social media assets. The successful candidate should not only feel at home in terms of craftsmanship but also creatively in common programs such as Aftereffects, Premiere, Cinema 4D, and also in other programs such as Unreal or AI. They must be able to independently realize projects from (moving image) concepts to editing. Skills in UI/UX design are welcome but not a MUST. Ideally, they should have an understanding of creative communication in general.
Responsibilities:
Create visually stunning and engaging motion graphics and animations for social media platformsWork collaboratively with the creative team to ensure that all work meets client requirements and is delivered on timeIndependently manage multiple projects from conception to final deliveryStay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in motion design and animationEnsure that all work adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Animation, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in motion design and animationProficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere, and PhotoshopExperience with 3D software such as Cinema 4D and UnrealStrong portfolio showcasing previous work in motion design and animationExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAttention to detail and a keen eye for design aestheticsDesired Skills and Experiences:Experience in UI/UX designFamiliarity with social mediaExperience working in an agency environment
