Will contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge products that make a difference in the Mining industry.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a leader in the field. This is a dynamic role within a great team.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to design mandates, standards & compliance, and successful implementation of projects within the Research & Development (R&D) department.This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, attention to detail, extensive knowledge of industry standards, and the ability to manage projects effectively.Requirements:BEng Mechanical Engineer/ BSc Mechanical Engineering/ BTech Mechanical or a related field (Master's degree preferred).15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on design verification, standards implementation, R&D, and project management.In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical systems and products.Proficiency in engineering software and tools for simulation, modeling, and analysis.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-team collaboration.Proven track record of successfully managing projects from concept to completion.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think creatively and strategically.Passionate about product excellence, standards compliance, and driving innovation through R&D.Solid Works or similar 3D design skills.Product Database Management 'PMD' knowledge will be required.
