Job DescriptionA reputable engineering consulting firm is currently in search of a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg. Candidates must be experienced in the building sector with experience in the development of Data Centres.Requirements:BSc: Mechanical EngineeringProfessionally registered with ECSA (Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech Eng)10 years' experience within the building construction/property sectorExtensive experience in developments of Data CentresExperienced in working on projects from inception to completion/close outExtensive experience and knowledge in the management of the JBCC and NEC forms of contractsPreparation of cost estimates and budgetsPreparation of BOQ's, tender and contract documentationManagement and leadership of junior staffGreat skills in:Technical report writingMarketing (clients)CommunicationCritical thinking and decision makingTime managementQuality and cost managementEstablished client base as well as develop and maintain new client relationshipsStable employment record with contactable referencesProficient in MS Office, MS Projects, AutoCAD and RevitCorrespondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates.
