Job Description:Defining the breadth of work requiredGenerating and updating detailed bills of materials and their corresponding 3D modelsEfficiently managing product dataCrafting 3D components and 2D part drawings to meet supplier and regulatory guidelinesCollaborating with global suppliers and clients to refine design conceptsFacilitating thorough concept and design assessmentsMastering CAD software and PLM systemsSupporting customers in their day-to-day operationsInnovating to offer practical solutions for cost reduction, service enhancements, and product refinementCoordinating with materials and procurement teams on new part design and sourcingCollaborating with Analysis, Test, and Manufacturing Engineering to optimize material usage and manufacturing processesEnsuring product designs adhere to governmental regulations, restrictions, and codes in conjunction with Product Regulation and Compliance teamsSkills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in Mechanical design engineering3D CAD experienceWilling to travel overseas for variable periodsQualification:BEng Degree or BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
