Job Description Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 6 months contract Work set up: Hybrid (1 or 2 days in-office, flexible) Our client, a leader in financial services is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Front-End Developer to join their dynamic team.
This role is ideal for a professional with a strong technical background in front-end development and a deep understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and Google tools.
As a key member of the marketing and development team, you will be responsible for optimising user experiences, implementing advanced analytics, and ensuring SEO best practices are upheld across all digital platforms.

What you will do: Develop, test and maintain responsive front-end pages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Collaborate with Design teams to translate mock-ups and wireframes into functional web pages.
Implement and manage search tags, Google Analytics tags, and other tracking codes to monitor site performance and user engagement.
Conduct A/B tests to optimise website functionality, user experience and conversion rates.
Ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all web pages, including proper tag implementation, meta descriptions and link structures.
Optimise web pages for speed, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
Manage and utilise tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, to track campaign performance and website metrics.
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to develop and implement strategies that enhance online visibility and lead generation.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end development issues quickly and effectively.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree, university degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices.
Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM tools.
Familiarity with JSON, XML, and REST APIs.
Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design and SEO-optimised pages.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (additional experience with frameworks like React or Angular is a plus).
Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices, including on-page optimisation and link structure.
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
Familiarity with A/B testing tools and methodologies.
Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including campaign tracking and performance analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Designers, Developers and Marketing professionals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
