Senior Marketing Consultant
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct a market audit of the toweling industry which includes analysis of:
The macro environment - product analyses
Growth levers, including:
Influences on price across regions and market dynamics.
Comparative analyses of industry pricing strategies.
Product segmentation in relation to weight, size, and price for the consumer.
Review of product ranges (SKU's).
An analysis of margins by product & customer.
An analysis of rate of sale of SKU's.
Risk and mitigants, including:
Identify any potential risk – the role of house brands/dealer own brands.
Proposed mitigants to address the above risks.
Price elasticity considerations.
Outcomes, including:
Product and range rationalization.
Clearly defined pricing strategy.
Innovations, including:
Brand creative ideas for brands.
Brand positioning, architecture, campaign, and creative strategy.
Activation and experiential marketing.
Launch new ranges to drive excitement.
Point of sale material development.
Campaign development, including:
Above-the-line customer and shopper campaigns.
Below-the-line customer and shopper campaigns.
Social media engagement, content planning, community management, and reporting.
Communication strategy:
Clearly defined communication strategy to be developed.
Execution strategy – mix:
A clear definition of sales team duties and responsibilities.
Identifying key target customers aligned with the brand positioning.
Identifying sales channels that will realize the goals of diversifying and delivering growth opportunities.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Senior Marketing Consultant, with a minimum of 6 years in a similar role.
Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
