Job Summary To manage AVAF & Ford Credit collections risk strategies within SA, focusing on developing, implementing, and monitoring payments and collections strategies. An outcome of the role is to ensure delinquency prevention, collections, and recoveries strategies are developed, implemented, and maintained to achieve the target lending loss rates within the risk appetite.
Job Description Accountability: Strategy, Planning and Risk Management Manage the implementation of leading-edge payment and collection strategies in AVAF & Ford Credit.Manage and develop collections and high-risk account management strategies using leading-edge techniques to maximize collections.Review and optimize Forbearance strategies for AVAF & Ford Credit to ensure recoveries are maximized whilst rehabilitating the customer.Participate in the strategy setting and design of the Collections Operations and External Debt Collectors incentive programmes.Maintain documentation of end-to-end credit collections strategy.Ensure Management Information (MI) is developed to monitor strategy performance and effective implementation.Accountability: Stakeholder and Relationship Management Coordinate and communicate collections activities with the respective BUs, Risk, technology, and Operations teams.Drive close collaboration with the Operations and Technology teams.Secure support from Collections and Recoveries Operations, Risk Teams, MI, Business teams, Finance, and HR to deliver collections programs.Accountability: People and Culture Builds and sustains a culture that aligns to RBB's aspirational colleague experience.Ensure delivery of business goals by aligning Performance Development (PD) Plans of direct reports to the business goals.Pro-actively identify development areas of indirect reports and assist with development plans.Accountability: Control Accountable for ensuring an optimal and compliant control environment within the product.Role/Person Specification Education and Experience Required Honours Degree in Mathematics and/or Statistics or equivalent NQF level 8 qualification.3 years of relative banking experience, with 2 years in a senior role (preferably Retail Banking).Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge in dealing with Retail Bank clients.Proven record in credit management & Sanctioning.Financial analysis and interpretation skills.Competencies: Problem Solving Leadership.Results Orientation.Customer Focus.Business Acumen.Innovation Leadership.Collaboration and Influencing.Strategic Capability.Inspirational People Leadership.Education Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
