Oversee the product control team and perform the independent verification of reconciliations and substantiation of the balancesheet and income statement for assigned areas. Manage and influence internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieverequired outcomes and inform decision making.
Deliver and present accurate PnL reports, analysis and commentary to required stakeholders and where required resolve breaksand any escalated exceptions.Develop and maintain a high performing team by providing adequate support, guidance and training, and where requiredeffectively manage poor performance and ensure succession planning is in place.Develop and update the financial control framework and all supporting processes and procedures for implementation andexecution by teams to ensure that an adequate control and governance environment exists, and risk mitigation protocols andcorrective measures are in place. Oversee and manage the annual external audit process and maintain contact with auditors todetermine and understand audit requirements ensuring continued governance and compliance of CIB.Oversee the preparation of ledgers, financial statements, trial balances, and reconciliations, ensuring all commentary andmanagement reviews are accurate. Independently verify the validity, accuracy and completeness of all balance sheets, financialstatements and results ensuring everything is in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards. Review and signoffall exceptions and commentary to validate accuracy and correctness and where required make amendments. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Type of Qualification: Degree

8-10 years experience of in-depth knowledge of the Finance Operations capability with conceptualunderstanding of its principles/ theories and core products and business lines thatare serviced Ability to use own judgement to complex and / or escalated problems
Ability to adapt communication style based on the target audience, within own and
outside of the function, and have strategic conversations with key partners and
stakeholders across the business and externally.
