We are looking for a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to join our team at Absa Regional Operations (ARO). In this role, you will be responsible for developing marketing and communication strategies, implementing integrated campaigns and fostering collaboration among regional cross-functional teams to drive consideration and business growth.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Marketing Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Campaign Management: Develop integrated marketing campaigns, including ATL, BTL and digital initiatives, to drive business growth, brand health and generate leads or sales.
Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and image across all marketing channels and materials.
Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
Digital Marketing: Drive digital marketing efforts, including social media, paid media, SEO, SEM content marketing and any other digital elements.
Analytics and KPIs: Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve KPIs.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure overall alignment with brand and business goals as well as optimised budget spend.
Supplier Management: Work closely with agency partners to champion creativity and media excellence.
Enablement: Facilitate the transfer of skills and best practices to Countries to enhance capabilities and demonstrate marketing's as a key enabler to business growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or NQF 7 equivalent.
5 – 8 years' Proven track record of success in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
Strong understanding of marketing KPIs, budget management and brand metrics.
Experience in driving digital marketing initiatives, with a focus on delivering a full-funnel approach to campaigns.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of motivating, engaging and aligning diverse teams across regions.
Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
Additional Requirement:
Regional Pan Africa Experience Preferred: Ability to navigate diverse markets and cultural landscapes to effectively position Absa as the preferred banking partner across Africa.

Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Marketing (Required)
