Senior Manager: Management Accounting (Grade 17)
Finance Division The Finance Division invites suitably qualified candidates to join their team.

Main Objectives As part of the senior management team of the Finance Division, lead and direct the activities of the Management Accounting function, which includes the development of the University's annual budget and periodic forecasts, management accounts, financial evaluations, and costing activities. A primary objective of the job is to support management across the University in decision-making by providing financial insights on past performance and financial guidance on future opportunities and risks.
The Requirements B Com (Accounting as major) or the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification, with postgraduate studies in Financial and/or Management Accounting as an advantage, with approximately nine (9) years relevant experience where such experience includes:
At least five (5) years of management experience working with senior and middle management in an organization.Responsible for management accounting activities, including the preparation of management accounts, financial analyses, and costing activities.Preparation and maintenance of budgets of a large organization.Working with and maintaining the general ledger and management accounting systems and structures.Working with ERP financial systems and report writers.Advanced Excel skills for budgeting, financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.Advantages shall be: Relevant experience within a higher education context; Relevant experience working with financial strategy development in an organization.Application Process It is essential that prospective candidates read the job profile for further information and ensure that all relevant documentation is submitted.

Cost to Company per annum (Approximately): R1,137,843.00
