Area of Specialization: Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Manager Finance will provide strategic direction and leadership for comprehensive financial management, with specific focus on IFRS 17 implementation, Prudential Authority regulatory reporting, and capital preservation strategies.

Minimum Requirements Qualification & Professional Registration: Chartered Accountant CA (SA) at NQF level 8 with 480 Credits or equivalent
Active SAICA membership
Experience: 10 Years' demonstrated experience in Financial Management
Proven track record in senior leadership roles within large financial services organizations
Strong background in Prudential Authority regulatory reporting and compliance frameworks
Experience with IFRS 17 implementation preferred
Core Technical Competencies: Expert knowledge of IFRS 17 standards and Prudential Authority regulations
Advanced capital preservation and investment management expertise
Proficiency with financial systems for risk, policy administration, and accounting
Strong capability in complex financial reporting and audit management
Experience in data-driven decision-making and system optimization
Leadership Competencies: Strong analytical and leadership capabilities
Strong stakeholder management skills with auditors, Prudential Authority, and internal teams
