Are you a qualified CA(SA) with a knack for precision in external reporting and payroll management Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to oversee their external reporting processes and ensure accurate payroll operations.
As a Senior Manager you will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance and driving financial transparency within their organisation.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES MANAGEMENT Manage performance objectives of the department
Empower staff to deliver on performance goals
Lead reporting audit tax and payroll functions
Provide guidance and support to team members
Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration
Provide on the job training to team members
Ensure positive audit outcome Continuously improve department functioning

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Manage resources effectively and efficiently
Optimise resource utilisation for optimal value
POLICY AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT Review and improve policies processes and procedures
Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Esure compliance and timely revision of policies
Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure compliance
Engage with stakeholders for input on new policies and procedures
EXTERNAL REPORTING AND AUDIT MANAGEMENT Collaborate with the organisation for audit activities
Ensure positive audit outcome
Manage yearend financial statement and audit preperation
Review finanacial statements and schedules for accuracy
Manage audit requests and findings
Coordinate audit engagements
Support committees in compliance with governance
RISK MANAGEMENT Review risk registers regularly
Monitor and manage risks effectively
PAYROLL MANAGEMENT Ensure staff is paid on time
Manage engagement with Human Capital employees and banks
Proactively manage risks and challenges
TAXATION Mangae relationship with SARS and service providers
Minimise related risks for the organisation
Collaborate with fixed assest mannagement for tax complaince

RequirementsMust be a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants CA (SA)
Minimum of six years experience postarticules experience
Strong understanding of Generally Reginised Accounting Practice
Experience in tax
Understanding of internal controls and procedures
Familiarity with CaseWare
